GAZA, (PIC)-- Two members of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas Movement, were killed Wednesday while confronting an IOF incursion into eastern Gaza city, local sources reported.
They said that they confronted an IOF special unit that infiltrated through the Mintar (Karni) crossing east of Gaza and engaged its members in a fierce clash that ended in the martyrdom of the two Qassam elements.
The armed wing identified the two martyrs, adding that they were killed in a 45-minute armed clash with the infiltrating IOF soldiers east of Shujaia suburb.
It added that Qassam fighters managed to fire a number of mortar shells at the IOF positions.
The armed wing affirmed insistence on persistence along the path of resistance against the occupation forces.
