The Nafha society for prisoners resumes work
NABLUS, (PIC)-- The Nafha society for the defence of prisoners and human rights resumed work and opened its doors to receive prisoners' families after getting a decision from the High Court of Justice suspending the implementation of a government decision taken by Fayyad's government to close down the society until the court looks into the appeal made by the society against the said decision.
The society made an appeal to the High Court challenging the government's decision which was made on 30 August 2007.
The society welcomed the High Court decision on 10 October and called on Human rights organisations and organisations serving the captives to cooperate in serving the captives and supporting them.
The society also called families of the captives to visit its offices in Nablus to follow up the cases of their imprisoned relatives as work on all cases was frozen as a result of the closure.
